This policy explains what we do with information you give us through this website. It is written in plain English on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it properly.
Who we are
This site is run by Qualis Energy Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 16320369, registered office in Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire. PulseNord is one of our trading brands. For data protection purposes Qualis Energy Limited is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@pulsenord.co.uk.
What we collect
If you fill in the quote form we collect your name, phone number, email address, postcode, the type of work you are asking about and anything you choose to write in the message box. That is all. We do not ask for anything else and we would rather you did not send us anything we have not asked for.
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use those logs to build a picture of you.
Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry, survey the job and give you a quote. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To carry out and record the work if you go ahead, including test certificates and notifications. The lawful basis is performance of a contract, and for certification our legal obligation.
- To keep records we are required to keep, such as electrical certificates and accounting records. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
We do not send marketing to people who have only asked for a quote unless they have asked us to.
Who else sees it
Your details are handled inside the company by the people who need them to do the job. We also use suppliers who process data on our behalf: our website host, our email provider and our job management software. They act on our instructions and cannot use your information for their own purposes.
Where notifiable work is involved, certificate details are submitted to our competent person scheme and, where it applies, to your local authority building control. That is a requirement of the Building Regulations, not a choice.
We do not sell your information to anybody. Ever.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are deleted after twelve months. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept for six years after the work, and electrical certificates are kept for the life of the installation record, because you and future owners may need them.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own, and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Nothing about your visit is measured or shared. If that changes we will update this page and ask you first, through a consent banner, before anything optional is set.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, and object to how we are using it. Email hello@pulsenord.co.uk and we will deal with it within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
