These terms cover the use of this website and the basis on which we quote for work. The full terms for a specific job are issued with the quotation, and those are the ones that govern the work itself.
Using this website
The content here is for general information. We keep it accurate and up to date as far as we reasonably can, but nothing on this site is a quotation or a survey, and no price, timescale or technical statement here should be relied on for your particular property until we have looked at it. The illustrations are diagrams, not installation drawings.
The design, wording, logos and artwork on this site belong to Qualis Energy Limited. Please do not copy them.
Quotations
We survey before we quote. The written quotation sets out the scope, the price and the number of days, and it is fixed for the scope described. It is valid for thirty days unless we say otherwise.
If we find something during the work that could not reasonably have been seen on the survey, we stop, tell you, and price it separately before carrying on. We do not add to an invoice without agreeing it with you first.
Carrying out the work
Work is carried out to BS 7671 as amended. Notifiable work in a dwelling is certified and notified under Part P of the Building Regulations by Garratt Electrical Ltd, company number 13837041, the NAPIT registered contractor we work in partnership with, under their scheme registration number 62944. Certificates are issued in their name.
We need reasonable access, a working supply and somewhere to park. Where floor coverings, decoration or fitted furniture have to be lifted or disturbed, the quotation says what making good is included. Making good is not redecoration unless it says so.
Payment
A deposit of 25% of the quoted price is payable when you accept the quotation. The balance is payable on completion, once the work is finished and the certificate has been issued. We do not ask for staged payments in between, and we do not ask for the balance before the work is done.
Guarantee
Our workmanship is guaranteed for twelve months from completion. Equipment and accessories carry the manufacturer’s own warranty, and we register products with the manufacturer where registration is needed for the warranty to stand. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by somebody else’s work, misuse, or alterations made by others.
Cancellation
Where you are a consumer and the contract was agreed away from our premises, you have fourteen days to cancel without giving a reason. If you ask us to start within that period and then cancel, we may charge for what has been done. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Tell us. Email hello@pulsenord.co.uk or call 0333 090 7546 and we will come and look at it. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited in law.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
